When we see those that engage in evil and prosper, we are often discouraged. Do not be discouraged for God looks upon those that He loves and grants mercy. Ps25.6 Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.
But notice that in this same book of Psalms we see God laugh three times and once in Proverbs…it is the only times that we see God laugh in the Bible: (Ps2.4, Ps37.13, Ps59.8, and Pr1.26). Each of them describes His response to the folly of unbelief of the wicked and their evil. These verses even show God having no mercy when terror strikes.
Ps2.4 He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.
Ps37.13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming.
Ps59.8 But you, O Lord, laugh at them; you hold all the nations in derision.
Pr1.26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you.
Regardless of the troubles of this hour, this day, and this life God always remembers us and He loves us.
