From the following three verses, we can see that God, Jesus, and the Spirit are one.

In this verse, Paul tells us that the Lord Jesus and the Spirit are one; 2Cor3.17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Jesus said that He and God were one; John10.30 I and the Father are one.

Jesus said that He and God were one and that we are also one with them; John17.21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

From the next three verses, we see that God, Jesus, and the Spirit are all in us and we in them.

John tells us that if we are believers, God is in us and we in Him; 1John3.24Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him.

Paul tells us that Jesus Christ is in us; Col1.27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Paul tells us that the Holy Spirit is in us; 2Tim1.14 By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.

Paul even greets us as one.

When Paul gives his final greeting at the end of the second Corinthian letter, he greets us all together…grace of Christ, love of God, and the fellowship of the Spirit. 2Cor13.14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

All of the above verses give us an insight into the likeness of God when we read the next verses.

Putting off our old self is taking on the truth of Jesus, by being renewed in the Spirit, and the putting on our new self which is having the righteousness and holiness of God. Eph4.21 assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, 22 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
