They Shall not Enter My Rest

Satan stands against everything that God stands for. For every work of God, Satan creates doubt…especially creation. Many Christians do not understand how fundamental God’s work of creation is to God’s work of salvation…Satan does. Even Pastors either accept evolution as a method of God’s creative work, or ignore the subject altogether in order not to offend Christian Darwinist.

These next verses in Hebrews demonstrate the seriousness of rejecting God as the creator God. Notice how the teaching in Hebrews on entering God’s rest is taught alongside the seven days of creation. Also notice it is those who understand that God’s works were “finished from the foundation of the world” are those that will enter His rest. Nothing evolved and there was no evolutionary process…it was finished from the foundation of the world, and it was finished in seven days. There is no room for long ages, and Christianity in its effort to conform the Truth of the Bible to a theory in science has failed God and Christian children. Who are children to trust if their pastor, their parents and many Christian leaders fail to understand and trust God in all matters…especially a matter as great as creation. If Christian leaders do not believe God in Genesis, why should Christian children believe Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John?

Heb 4:1 Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. Heb 4:2 For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened. Heb 4:3 For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest,’ ” although his works were finished from the foundation of the world. Heb 4:4 For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.” Heb 4:5 And again in this passage he said, “They shall not enter my rest.”
