From early writers, we find the following elements of worship in the church:
1. Reading the Scriptures
5. Lord’s Supper
These are the same elements we found in the New Testament worship. This vindicates the idea that the apostles clearly taught the churches how to worship, and the churches honored that teaching in the early second century.
