The Color of Truth

Charles Darwin left Seminary without a Religious degree and stepped onto a boat for a scientific expedition without a science degree. In fact he had no scientific training at all. He left Seminary rejecting God and came back from an expedition wanting everyone else to reject God.

Charles Darwin made the classic mistake of thinking that man was able to know everything without God. Darwin looked across the island and thought that he had found a theory that explained everything without God. Survival of the fittest; a species would survive by each succeeding offspring having the best and most necessary qualities for life’s function. Thus evolution acting as an unknowing and uncaring mechanism would insure the world as we see it today.

Darwin neglected to stick his head under the water and for many years so did his fellow succeeding scientist. Had they done so, there would have been a tremendous challenge to their theory. But, scientist eventually did and many have not understood the ramification of what they are seeing.

The truth is right there before their eyes and it takes the required underpinnings of evolution right out from under the theory. It is color; yes color. In a deep dark ocean why do we find fish, plants, and coral so beautifully colorful? When there is no light and everything operates by some sense other than sight, color is certainly not necessary for survival, in fact it is not necessary at all…yet everything is as colorful as flowers in sunlight.

It is the color of truth.

Ecc3.11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

God has made everything beautiful, put eternity in our heart, yet we will never know how God did it…and that includes Charles Darwin and all of his faithful followers.
