It is a misunderstanding that through other religions people are in a constant search for God. Paul in Romans tells us that no one seeks God; it is God that seeks us.
Romans3.10 as it is written “None is righteous, no, not one; 11no one understands; no one seeks for God.
All other religions are made up of a doing. Man is constantly seeking to do something in order to be in charge of his own righteousness. The God of the Bible says do nothing but surrender; it has been done for us on the cross. It would certainly seem like the easiest way, and it is. The only problem for man is the surrender part.
Surrender is not only difficult for unbelievers; it is equally difficult for believers. Have you asked a believer what they are doing, and it is always something such as Bible Study, serving, worshipping, missions…have you ever heard someone say “surrendering”?
We have peace with God when we surrender our life to Him. (Romans5.1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.)
We have the peace of God when we surrender the everyday events to Him. (Phillipians4.7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.)
