It seems that there are times when the truth is something that troubles many that are in positions of power. We in America are now going through another phase when suppressing the truth is sport. It is as if truth is a game. A game in which if you can suppress the truth you can gain an advantage for your own personal benefit.
We are coming into the presidential elections and now the suppression of the truth becomes even more of a sport. Whole groups suppress the truth for their candidate because they perceive that not only will it benefit the candidate, but it will benefit their agenda as well.
The Bible has something to say about “the suppression of the truth”. In Romans1.18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. To suppress the truth in any way is not a game; in life or in politics. God describes those that suppress the truth as unrighteous and they are subject to God’s wrath…this wrath is certain for the holiness of God demands it.
