These scriptures tell the world the good news of the Gospel. These verses also tell each person the central tenet of Christian faith: resurrection and faith. Jesus foretells His death and resurrection throughout the scriptures and the disciples never waiver on His resurrection.

Jesus foretells His death:

Mt 20:17 And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them, Mt 20:18 “See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death Mt 20:19 and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.”

Ac 2:24 God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.

Ro 8:11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Eph 1:20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,

Ac 2:24 God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.

The Bible is crystal clear that you must confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior there is no other name.

Ac 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Ro 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

The Bible is also crystal clear that when you do you are seen as already in Heaven.

Eph 2:6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

During the Easter celebration Christians see Christ in the tomb on Saturday, but Sunday all hope is realized. Hallelujah Amen.
