Mystical and Reasonable

How do you see scripture? It is an important question for every believer; it will determine your spiritual growth. Do you see scripture as something that is determined only by your experience? Is your approach only, “what does this say to me?”

Some things in scripture are beyond full comprehension, but not the majority of scripture. Believers do not need to color in each lack of understanding with “what does this say to me”, or determine truth by experience. God is not a God of confusion. 1 Co 14:33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints…

“Scripture is beyond full comprehension and therefore mystical, but also within the realm of understanding and therefore reasonable.” [1]
