Is More Knowledge More Truth?

In a world in which the word “me” is more important than the word “you”, and the word “you is more important than the word “us or them”, knowledge is a self-construction. Knowledge is now described as information constructed to fit a person’s particular view of themselves and those like them, and all else is ignorance. Knowledge is not pursued for the sake of gaining wisdom; it is pursued to defeat an opposing view. More knowledge is not more truth; it is a viewpoint with constructed facts.

Education is taught not as information, but as propaganda to advance a particular view…truth is not sought, only information that promotes. Myth prevails as if we had tumbled backwards into the ancient past. The one book surrounded with more myth than any other is the Bible. One’s view of the Bible will reveal more about a person’s critical thinking ability than any other book or intellectual exercise.

The Bible has affected more lives than any known book, yet intellectuals lack curiosity and treat reading the Bible seriously as ignorance. What is it about the Bible that stops honest inquiry by very smart people?

Eph 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart.

The Bible does not let someone construct their own truth and it exposes those that seek knowledge without understanding.

Job 21:14 They say to God, ‘Depart from us! We do not desire the knowledge of your ways.

Knowledge is a self-construction in which no one wants to serve anyone but themselves, and they certainly will not serve the Lord for they see no profit in it.

Job 21:15 What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? And what profit do we get if we pray to him?

The world is not in search of a knowledge of the truth; it is in search of a reason to deny God.
