Warning: avoid reading this if you are unable to hear the truth…iron sharpens iron, but it crushes tin foil.

Each blog about children in this series will start with these three verses and the teaching will follow.

Fulfill these two verses.

2 Ti 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

1 Pe 3:15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect…

To avoid the results of this verse:

2 Ti 4:3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions…

What is the second death and who will die the second death?

Re 20:14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Re 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

The second death is the Lake of Fire and it is for those that are unbelievers.

If 6 out of 10 of our Christian children are walking away from the Church and faith after the age of 15, Christians are going to have to admit the stark and hard truth. We are helping to toss our children into the Lake of Fire. Is anyone crying yet?

Last year and this year in over four events, I worked with others and 2750 people gave their life to Christ…most were children. Many were in Churches large and small, yet none of them understood the Gospel or had been asked to receive Christ. Is anyone crying yet?

Is anyone listening?

Re 2:11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.’

6 out of 10 is not more than a conqueror.

Re 3:21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Is it possible to do better?

Php 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

God says yes, you can keep them all. Will we follow the first two verses commands: “do your best”, “always being prepared”, “to make a defense”...have we and will we?

Is anyone crying yet?
