How is Religious Faith Under Assault?

“There are really two steps to the assaults on faith in America, one obvious and one subtle.

The obvious attacks come from these so-called “new atheists” and their fellow travelers. They argue that you have to be an idiot to believe in God, and that idiots who believe in God are responsible for all of the hate, war and bloodshed in our society. Their arguments are simplistic and often downright silly. Such rhetoric would never persuade people who had a more mature understanding of human nature, human history and the sources of our virtue.” Jamie Weinstein in an interview of David Brog the author of, “In Defense of Faith”

The subtle has been going on for over three decades in our schools. A liberal point of view is taught by liberals and their rewriting of history to reflect their worldview ensures Biblical ignorance. This loss of understanding of history and the Bible has had a devastating effect on western culture. The church has not been able to offset this detrimental effect and I think that will not change.

A broken system generally has to collapse under its own failures before anything new can arise. This will happen and I believe that it will be within the next decade. The zealous liberal will never stop trying to destroy the system they will only settle for their view. It will be changed by those that realize how they were cheated of the facts and vow to not let it happen again.
