This quote by Melissa Harris-Perry is dangerous for every Christian and it is being taught in our colleges, especially in African-American studies. She is a professor of political science at Tulane University. Prior to that, she was an associate professor of politics and African-American studies at Princeton University from 2006 to 2010 and taught political science at the University of Chicago from 1999 to 2005. After a failed first marriage, her mother left the LDS Church and was a single mother before she met Melissa's father. “I’ve never thought of myself as biracial,” Harris-Perry says. “I’m black.” Harris-Perry's family later became Unitarian Universalists. Melissa Harris-Perry quote: “We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we’ve always had a private notion of children, your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven’t had a very collective notion of these are our children.
So part of it is we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.
Once it’s everybody’s responsibility and not just the household’s we start making better investments.”
This is truly appalling and it starts with the early education programs. The State wants to control our children; in fact they want to own them. Your children are now property as they are in North Korea…evil never rests.
