I regularly speak to Christian believers, their teachers, leaders and pastors. I am always warning everyone to review their traditions over against scripture. Ask what is in biblical Truth and what is in tradition. Just because you enjoy the traditional, are comfortable with the traditional, serve the traditional, and were brought up in the traditional you must understand in wisdom that if the tradition is not biblical, it is sin. The Pharisees also believed in God, worshipped God, were the teachers and leaders, and faithfully tithed as many in church do today, but lost their soul for their traditions. What is the required fidelity and faithfulness standard to God’s Word? It is God’s standard, and God’s standard requires total fidelity and faithfulness to the Truth of His Word—denominational rules and standards of man’s mind do not qualify. What does fidelity and faithfulness (Truth) look like? Even the word “Amen” is a root word of Truth, and faithfulness. In other words, you are ending your prayer with the expectation that God will answer, because you are telling God to read your heart to see that you believe fully the “Amen” you just prayed.
These words describe faithfulness.
