#257 Seven Things About God’s Word
I am Fred Myers the founder of For the Fathers Ministry, and this is Faith by the Numbers.
Count your way to wisdom in number two hundred-fifty-seven of this series, Seven Things About God’s Word.
Science is the study of the structural and behavior of the physical and natural world. To-date the claim of science is that these wonders all happened by chance. God is given no credit for His creation. Philosophy is the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge as it relates to reality, existence, and truth. To-date fundamental the fundamental understanding of knowledge still claims that truth is unknowable. Yet, the Bible states clearly that God’s word is truth and God’s word accomplishes all that we see and know, if we know God.
Seven Things About God’s Word:
- God’s word created the universe
- God’s word is stored up in our heart
- God’s word has the power of redemption
- God’s word is living and abiding
- God’s word remains forever
- God’s word is the good news of the Gospel
- God’s word is truth
It is a shame that mankind lacks the power for understanding the knowledge that the Bible already provides. A disregard for the power of God’s word does not make God’s word void. Put on the whole armor of God and be blessed.

It is my prayer that many will count their way to wisdom through this series and find the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
Ro 10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); Ro 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
1 Pe 1:22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 1 Pe 1:23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; 1 Pe 1:24 for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, 1 Pe 1:25 but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.
Jn 15:3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.
Jn 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
