Seven Things About Christian Adult/ Toddlers

The Apostle Paul said that he toiled and struggled with all the energy Christ could give him. Paul needed to use all his might to do three things. Paul wanted Christians to stop acting and thinking like toddlers. The word for children in Ephesians 4.14 means toddler or infantile.

Col 1:28 Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. Col 1:29 For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.

Paul in wisdom:

  1. Proclaimed
  2. Warned
  3. Taught

So Christian toddlers would not be:

  1. Tossed to and fro
  2. Carried away by every wind of doctrine
  3. Fooled by human cunning and craftiness
  4. Susceptible to lies
  5. Unskilled in the word of God
  6. Unready and unable to learn the word of God
  7. Infantile in their thinking

Eph 4:14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

Heb 5:13 for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child.

1 Co 3:1 But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. 1 Co 3:2 I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready…

1 Co 14:20 Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.
