Jesus prayed early:
Mk 1:35 And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.
It is important for every Christian to note that if Jesus Christ had a prayer life then everyone Christian needs a prayer life.
Your mind is better prepared when you commit the morning to prayer. The Bible demonstrates that there is something special about the morning. God seems to act in the morning, and he wants Holy things done in the morning.
Ex 16:7 and in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling against the Lord. For what are we, that you grumble against us?”
Ex 19:16 On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled.
Ex 30:7 And Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it. Every morning when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it,
The Psalms show King David praying and worshipping in the morning:
Ps 5:3 O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch.
Ps 59:16 But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.
Ps 88:13 But I, O Lord, cry to you; in the morning my prayer comes before you.
Jesus taught and worshipped early in the morning.
Jn 8:2 Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them.
Jesus and the Disciples started their day early.
Mk 11:20 As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away to its roots.
It is good to wait on the Lord every morning.
La 3:22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; La 3:23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. La 3:24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
The Bible recites many blessings for you when you are in agreement with God, but early in the morning is depicted in the Bible as a special time to be in agreement with the God of the Bible.
