They Were Saved In Childhood

Polycarp, the courageous early church martyr, was converted at 9 years old. Jonathan Edwards, perhaps the mightiest intellect of the American pulpit, was saved at 7. Count Zinzendorf, leader of the Moravians, signed his name to this covenant when he was 4: “Dear Saviour, do Thou be mine and I will be Thine!”

Matthew Henry, that great commentator, was converted at 11. Robert Hall, the prince of Baptist preachers, received Christ at 12. Spurgeon began to awaken spiritually at 12. Isabella Graham, immortal in the Christian Church, was converted at 10. [1]
