What does God require of you? Can you believe in evolution and be a Christian? The Bible tells you absolutely not. Let’s follow the word of God from Genesis to Revelation. In Genesis, you are told that God created the heavens and the earth.

Ge 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

In Hebrews, you are told how God created the heavens and earth…by His word. You are also told that your faith is only assured when you believe this fact. Chapter eleven in Hebrews is the great chapter of faith and before God tells you about these men; God tells you how He created the universe. There is no great chapter of faith without faith in creation by His word. God spoke everything into existence and it is by faith that you understand.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Heb 11:2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

How are you counted as righteous? You are counted righteous by faith.

Ro 4:22 That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.”

To be a Christian, you must believe God. That belief is faith in His creative power which states the universe was created by His word, not by evolution. By your faith, you are counted as righteous.

Ga 3:11 Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Notice the righteous live by faith; but not just faith in anything. You cannot have your own righteousness. The righteousness of God depends on faith. Faith is faith in the creative power of God’s word and not the theories of man (evolution).

Php 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith

Christ died for the righteous and the unrighteous, but it is only the righteous that are saved.

2 Co 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

The righteousness of God created the heavens and the earth by His word. Without the righteousness of God you will not enter Heaven. To believe in evolution is evil and God considers you filthy. These are not my words, these are God’s words.

Re 22:11 Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
